The most common type of cardiovascular disease is coronary artery disease, which causes heart attacks and strokes. However, the term cardiovascular disease (CVD) includes all conditions that affect the heart and may include other organ or molecular systems (like blood lipids, coagulation and thrombosis, kidneys, and lungs, as related to circulation of blood). Additionally, conditions like high blood pressure may contribute to cardiovascular disease.
There is a lot to consider when deciding whether to participate in a clinical trial. Any clinical trial includes risks, which the study doctor will review with you. Make sure you understand the risks before participating.

Below is a list of all available cardiovascular clinical trials. You can narrow the results by choosing options in the dropdown menus below. You can also narrow results to trials near you by entering your city or postal code in the search field.
