Dear participant:
At the center of clinical trials are people like you—the participants who help move research forward. Clinical trials help us study investigational medicines—medicines that are still being tested—to learn how they work in the body.
It takes time to participate—you attend appointments, coordinate care at home, find transportation, or seek care partner support. We’re grateful for people like you who make research possible.
You can help make a difference in research
Your participation helps researchers address important scientific questions and helps us to study investigational medications for unmet medical needs. With your involvement, investigational medications can be tested, and we can learn more about safety and whether they may work. Your contributions have the potential to support clinical research advancements. Thank you for your dedication and for being a part of research.
Medicine is for the people
Merck proudly unveiled a mural at the company’s headquarters. Titled “The Heart of Discovery,” the artwork was created by artist Jasminia Otero, who collaborated with patients to highlight both the human and animal sides of medicine. Watch it come to life in the video below.
